NEWLY appointed Melbourne Football Club captain Brad Green and wife Anna (pictured) are selling a property in Brighton East.The 30-year old athlete, who as a teenager was scouted by the Manchester United soccer team, made his debut with the Demons in 2000.The home, at 6A Lansdown Street, sits on a block near Landcox Park and the Bay Street and Gardenvale Road retail strips.One of two units on the block, it has three bedrooms, the main with en suite and storage. There are two courtyards, a lock-up garage and separate laundry.Lansdown Street is near the suburb border of Elsternwick, Caulfield North and Brighton and the North Brighton train station. Children in the street are within the zone to attend the nearby GardenvalePrimary School.Chisholm & Gamon Elwood's Torsten Kasper will auction 6A Lansdown Street at 3pm on April 9.Green was voted the 41st captain of the club in January, replacing James McDonald who retired after the 2010 season. The club's 2010 best-and-fairest winner will lead with joint vice-captains Aaron Davey, Brent Moloney and Jared Rivers.Green recently indicated his intention to represent the club into his mid-30s.
